Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Subscription plans

House of AI is offered on a monthly ($14.99/month) and annual ($149.9/year) basis. Both plans auto-renew at the end of each billing cycle. You may cancel at any time; cancellation stops future charges but does not reverse charges already made, except as described below.

2. Monthly plans — no refund, access through period end

Monthly plans are non-refundable. If you cancel during a monthly billing cycle, you keep access to Pro features until the end of the paid period, and you are not charged for the next cycle.

3. Annual plans — 30-day pro-rata refund window

If you purchased an annual plan, you may request a pro-rata refund within 30 days of the original purchase date. Pro-rata means: refund = (price paid) × (days remaining / 365), minus any promotional discount already applied.

To request a pro-rata refund, email info@hofai.io from the email address on the account, within 30 days of the original purchase. We will process eligible refunds within 5 business days. Refunds are returned to the original payment method.

4. After the 30-day window

Annual plans purchased more than 30 days ago are non-refundable for the remaining unused period, but cancelling will prevent renewal at the end of the current period.

5. How to cancel

• From your account: Settings → Subscription → Cancel. Cancellation is immediate and you receive a confirmation email.
• By email: write to info@hofai.io from your account email with the subject line “Cancel subscription.” We process requests within one business day.
• Through Stripe: if you purchased via Stripe checkout you may also manage the subscription through the Stripe customer portal linked from your receipts.

6. Trial periods

If a free trial is offered, we will tell you the trial length and the date on which your card will first be charged. You may cancel before the trial ends to avoid any charge. Once the first paid period begins the regular refund rules above apply.

7. Material changes & pro-rata refund on disagreement

If we materially change these Terms, pricing, or benefits, you will be notified at least 30 days before the change takes effect. If you do not agree, you may cancel and receive a pro-rata refund for the unused portion of a prepaid term, regardless of the 30-day window above. This right is preserved under New York General Business Law § 527-a.

8. Chargebacks

If you have a billing issue, please email info@hofai.iofirst — we can almost always resolve it faster than a chargeback. Opening a chargeback without contacting us first may result in temporary suspension of your account pending resolution with your bank, per Stripe's published merchant guidelines.

9. Involuntary refunds

We may issue a refund without request if (a) we discontinue the Services during a paid period, (b) we cannot deliver a feature you specifically paid for, or (c) we determine in good faith that a charge was made in error.
